COZY LAKE ANDRUSIA CABIN WITH 165 FEET OF SHORELINE, FISH OFF PRIVATE DOCK WITH TWO LIFTS, AND KIDS CAN PLAY IN THE SANDBOX
Unknown to many is the great diversity of the Cass Lake fishing chain. It has miles of undeveloped wilderness shoreline and several large sugar sand beaches, which make for great family fun. It hosts a variety of wildlife, such as Bald Eagles, osprey, beaver, otters and deer. This chain of lakes includes Cass and six smaller lakes, including Andrusia and Pike Bay. The spring Walleye fishing is tremendous and remains consistent throughout the year. This chain supports healthy populations of Musky, Perch, Largemouth Bass, Blue Gill & Crappie.
Cass Lake has islands to explore. One of the most intriguing is Star Island, which is a several hundred acre island with Lake Windigo nestled inside. You can hike miles of trails, picnic, explore, or take a canoe and fish for bass and panfish on Lake Windigo.
Watch the kids swim, roast marsh mellows around the campfire, or sun yourself on the beach. Watch the sun set from the deck or the dock.
Excellent dining, golf, shopping, casinos, churches, medical facilities, and many other popular tourist attractions, such as Itasca State Park, can be accessed by lake or by land. You will be 16 miles from Bemidji and 30 miles from Walker if you want a break from the lake and want to enjoy the fun to be found in these two towns.

Summary: Place was awesome for our fishing trip. Nice peir to tie up boats. Plenty of room for 6 guys. Clean inside with kitchen for fish fries. Great fishing in lake andrusia and easy trip to Cass and other lakes. Definitely one of the best places I have been too

Summary: This was the nicest and largest cabin we have stayed at! They had EVERYTHING for us! My almost 2 year old daughter had a blast because there was a large yard, deck, and lots of toys. We even brought a small pool for her because the shore wasn’t the best for her. Our family enjoyed getting up and enjoying coffee and eating meals on the deck with a beautiful view. Many of us spent a lot of time fishing because there were so many lakes to choose from. We had enough fish for a fish fry and to take home. Even had a rainy day so we enjoyed going to the casino for a bit. Played a lot of yard games and enjoyed bonfires at night! Anytime we had a question it was answered quickly and we never had any problems with anything. It is a great getaway for a family with kids or adult weekend! We would definitely book again if we picked that area again.

Summary: This was our second time staying at this home. We love it so much, we have already made our reservations for next year. The house has everything you could possibly need. All paper products, towels, etc are provided. There is an over abundance of spices, tin foil, baggies, etc - that you do not need to bring anything besides food. The yard is nice and flat out to the lake, perfect for playing yard games. We unload our boat at the resort next door, and keep it in the boat lift on the property. Nice quiet location. Communication with owner is outstanding. Texts to make sure we got in and that everything was ok. Highly recommend this property!!!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Lake Andrusia on the Cass Lake chains. Arnold’s home has a stunning aspect out on the Lake, and a great spot for a little (or a lot!) of fishing. Made even more convenient by the ability to dock our boat at the resort next door, Morning Star Resort. This house has a lot to recommend, for our group, 4 Adults (1 couple, 2 singles) one of the best things was the lay out with a King Room downstairs and 2 doubles upstairs. So often cabin rentals are for large families groups. This house would also work well for families with kids (there is also a bunkbed downstairs) but is great for a group of adults. The kitchen is well stocked, cast iron pans for frying fish, muffin tins, good quality pans and knives, gas stove, coffee maker only to name a few that should get, even the most enthusiastic cook, through their stay! The only miss is we could not find wine glasses (which we may have just missed in this large kitchen) - that did not however deter us from drinking our wine! We brought our own fishing supplies and life jackets but there was more than enough gear for those that do not have their own equipment, including life jackets for every size and shape. The Hosts were wonderful, great information was provided before our stay and the few questions we had during our stay were handled quickly through texts. As other guests have said, the place was extremely clean and I enjoyed the fun décor. We would definitely stay again!
