Positive: Great location for a one night stop on a road trip. Room was basic but clean. Bed was comfortable. Close to downtown, the lake, and a popular restaurant called Berardi’s. Room includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, fridge, Keurig coffee, towels.

Negative: Stayed here in August and there happened to be a ton of May flies outside of the room. At least 100 of them flew into the room one night when coming in after dark.

Summary: Worked well for a one night stay.

Positive: The room was nice. Thought it was bigger than it was. Still nice though. The bathroom and sleeping are could have been swept better. Floors where not swept good.

Negative: The location to Cedar Point was great. Bes, shower etc was convenient

Summary: Stay was good, bed was hard though and floors could have been better sweet.

Positive: The property and rooms appear to have been recently updated. The style is contemporary and kind of cool. Parking is secure. There is no noticeable street noise at night. Downtown Sandusky is a short 2-mile drive from the motel.

Negative: I am not a big fan of motels that don't have reception staff at the property. Homefield Inn does registration, check in/out all online. I would prefer to know this in advance. I had to call to get my room number after going through the online check-in. No breakfast. The room had some unfinished work in the bathroom. There wasn't much in the way of storage or places to hang clothes. The property is not in a convenient location to walk to decent restaurants.

Positive: Very newly remodeled. Rooms had some nice aesthetics that you wouldn’t find in the typical hotel room. Self check in was very easy and worked well for us. Overall a pretty good place to stay.

Negative: Sheets and pillows were very scratchy. Not the most comfortable beds ever. Bathroom felt pretty cramped and didn’t have any hooks to hang a towel.
