Summary: We have been staying at this specific location for years, and for the most part have a great experience. This time though, there was a fire alarm between 1-2am. It took a long time for everything to be inspected and reset, and then when we were finally allowed to return to our room, the alarm went off AGAIN! It was an extremely unpleasant experience. Thankfully, we weren't required to evacuate a second time. We would REALLY appreciate if the hotel management would do everything in their power to ensure this doesn't happen again, and it would have been nice to have received at least an acknowledgment or apology gesture from the hotel. All the staff acted like nothing happened, and that left a bad impression.

Summary: It was generally good in that the spacious room was very comfortable and mostly clean. I did notice some soiling on the couch and on the carpet. The part that was most unsettling was the obvious whiskers in the bathroom sink. That indicated a very poor cleaning job at one the most important areas.

Summary: Our sleep was disturbed all through the middle of the night with a very noisy heater. The beds were comfortable. Our breakfast food was good, BUT, we were not impressed with the paper plates, wooden forks, knives & spoons. We have been coming here for years to celebrate our Anniversary. The staff were friendly and helpful. They sent out maintenance to fix our headboard lamp and said they would definitely report problem about the heater.

Summary: I have stayed in a lot of hotels in my time and this one is by far my favourite. I love the rooms. The staff is so accommodating, allowing me to leave my suitcase with them both upon arriving early to wait until I could return at check in time and also upon checking out, because I had all day to wait until my train time. This is of utmost importance to me. I do this getaway at least once a year an will always pick this hotel, as long as it stays in my price range. I guess if I had one hope it is that weekend prices were not so much higher, so that I could extend my stay even longer.

Summary: Everything was great - it was winter and we had wet boots When we came in we left puddles of snow salt mud- wish there was a mat on the floor or a boot tray- floor was always wet and dirty Everything else was great Hand soap in bathrooms would be nice Would come back for sure- so close to everything
