Summary: This home is easily the best rental we’ve had. Location was prime, the views exquisite, privacy abounds, it is so well stocked and supplied you’d be hard pressed to find a single item missing and with eight adults and one three yr old we cooked, slept, lounged, bbq’d, sat at the fire and admired the views from every angle and never went without.

Summary: We loved staying at Hooks Nest - this was our second year at the home. The house is beautifully finished, immaculately clean, and well-stocked for a comfortable stay. Sherri, the host, was easy to get in touch with. The view at the house is particularly spectacular - we loved looking out at the water from so many rooms. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Summary: Amazing rental property secluded on orcas island. Had a family reunion here and thought it was amazing. Amazing amenities and we will definitely be staying here again. I will say on a hotter day (it was record temperatures in July) it can get hot on second floor because there is no AC. We used fans in closet and opened windows at night (cools off down into the 50s) and we were fine, but something to be aware of. Again I highly recommend this home to anyone traveling to orcas. Dave

Summary: This property was amazing. The view is gorgeous. Then add in the home is beautiful and very comfortable. There is everything in the home you would need or want. Even more. There were interesting books in almost every room to enjoy. An added surprise. The deck made the perfect place to read and enjoy the stunning water view during down times. The home is close to hiking and kayaking, so in all, this place can not be beat in my eyes. We want to return!

Summary: The house and setting is beautiful. In addition the house was very well equipped with top quality cookware and a well supplied pantry. Beds and bedding were first rate. Perfect house for a big family. I can't think of anything that would have improved our stay!
