3 Bedroom Cabin in Alix, Clarksville

Cabin has 2500 square feet and over 500 square feet of porches and balconies overlooking Horsehead Lake and the Ozark National Forest. The views and waterfalls are absolutely spectacular!! The property offers 33 acres and abuts the Ozark National Forest. Walk out the door and start hiking/biking on endless trails! Private dock is only one of three on the entire lake. New Pickleball Courts just added! 6 Miles north of I-40 at Exit 47.
You will have a newly constructed lodge with all the amenities and privacy you could ever ask for in this remote setting! Tons of custom features!
Cabin: The 1st floor offers a spacious living area with huge stone fireplace, open kitchen to enjoy the view, along with a bedroom with queen bed with full bath. The 1st floor also boast a covered front porch with seating for 10 and an outside dining table for 6. The second floor also offers a huge living area along with the master bedroom with private balcony and master bath with huge Jacuzzi tub and open stone shower. The 2nd floor also has a full length balcony facing the lake from the living area. The 3rd floor loft offers two full beds, one on each end. Large flat screen TVs are located in both living areas and all bedrooms including a TV for each of the beds in the upstairs loft ( 6 total throughout) with DISH TV. Like music? Build a fire in the outdoor fire pit and sit back and relax! Seems most folks just can’t seem to leave the front porch due to the view!
Cabin: We provide free of charge two kayaks and a canoe. You will also have complete access to the 33 acres as well as the entire Ozark National Forest that abuts the property. Private boat dock for fishing or swimming or just enjoying the peacefulness on the lake as well as endless trails for hiking and biking. 4 Wheelers and Jeep’s are allowed anywhere on the property and on designated trails in the Ozark National Forest. Horsehead Lake Campground and Recreation Area also offers a designated swimming area with full bathrooms.

We are currently building other structures on the site.

Summary: Went to get away from it all and did this place provide that!! Sunrise views were unbelievable! Took the side x side with us and could ride from the lodge to miles and miles of trails and roads. The host was the friendliest host I have met in all the places we have stayed. Very accommodating and super friendly. Checked on us several times. If you have a group of 8, this place would be the place to go. We will definitely be going back.

Summary: Me and my family needed a break from everything and decided to come here for our respite and it was hands down a incredible place to stay where we could be left alone and have down time for ourselves. The views around the house are amazing and you will never get bored just looking out of the window all day! The photos of this place do not do justice to just how beautiful it really is and how incredible the sunrises and sunsets are here. I hope we are able to return here again soon. Scott is a very nice and hospitable host with excellent communication and he has excellent suggestions and offers for things to do and see around the area. A+ 5 Stars

Summary: This is a must stay place!! We had 2 families that stayed, 4 adults and 6 kids and there was something for all ages to do. We brought 4 wheelers and cruised around the trails, swam at the lake and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, it had everything needed for our stay. The amount of work they put in the house and land really showed. The sunrise and sunset was absolutely gorgeous. The owner Scott was there for anything we needed but also let us do our thing. There is some construction going on for a restaurant and I can’t wait to go back and try it. If you want a relaxing weekend, this is absolutely the place to go. I can’t find or say one negative thing about this place..it was truly amazing!

Summary: We booked this cabin last minute be a it was pet friendly. It was wonderful! The views are amazing. The host was very helpful and the cabin had everything we needed. My kids loved the loft room and the lake access.

Summary: The property was beautiful but there wasn’t a lot to do around the property. Even though we fished very hard, we only caught one small fish. There was not much commercial activities in the area. Even though the place was beautiful, we will probably not go back because there was not enough for the teens and children to do
