Welcome to our 5 bedroom house. This beautiful, updated farmhouse has all the modern amenities you would want in a country setting. Your family or group can spend quality time together in this spacious, private home located on a quiet, country road in beautiful Oro-Medonte. With a fenced in yard, sunroom and deck, and a magnificent view of the fields growing crops, this is a wonderful place to spend a holiday. And if you want to spend time inside, the house offers a comfortable living room with a large screen TV, a smaller family room with a cozy fireplace or head downstairs to the basement and play a game of air hockey!
Situated minutes from many amenities including Bass Lake Provincial Park, swimming, boating, bike/hike trails, Burl's Creek Concert Venue, ice fishing, and both downhill and cross country skiing (Hardwood Hills, Horseshoe Resort, Mount St. Louis Moonstone). This beautiful farmhouse is at the gateway to cottage country. Horseshoe Valley Farm is a great place to stay to get away from the city to relax and rejuvenate.
In the winter, the farm offers ample room to park equipment (ie. snowmobiles, trailers and ski equipment) and enjoy the many winter opportunities that are available close by.
There are five bedrooms and two complete bathrooms. Guests will have access to free Wi-fi, Netflix, as well as the peaceful enjoyment of strolling around the property.
This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.
Our house rules: no smoking, no parties or events, pets permitted.
Animals are not allowed on beds or furniture.
Other buildings including the barn and shop are off limits.
Be considerate to your new neighbors! Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 8 am, during which time the noise from the home shall not unreasonably disturb neighbours.
Remove your shoes at the door.
Clean any spills up immediately. Cleaning supplies along with broom, mop and vaccuum cleaner can be found in the broom closet in the kitchen.
We have a septic system so please do not flush sanitary products or diapers down the toilets. Use the garbage cans provided.
Smoking is permitted outside only.
Please leave the Provincial Park Passes (2) on the counter in the kitchen when you check out.

Summary: We’ve been here twice for Christmas family reunion, and both times had really enjoyable stay. The cottage is well equipped for the large group like ours (8 adults). The host Sheryl is very responsive to all minor requests we had. She decorated the cottage for Christmas, which created really cozy spirit. Will consider coming back again.

Summary: My group has been to this property every year for the past 6 years and have enjoyed our weekend stay every time. The kitchen is well supplied, there is ample space to spread out within the farmhouse and outside, and the countryside is quiet and very peaceful. We love our stay here every time and look forward to return each year in the fall.

Summary: It was lovely waking up in the morning to view the farm along with the mist and sunrise. The calls of the cows and sheep was comforting. The Vettä spa is close by as well as a few golf courses to choose from The farm house was perfect for all of us with room to move. The dining table was big enough for us all as well and kitchen had plenty of room for plenty of cooks. Great stay.

Summary: This is the fourth year my girlfriends and I have ventured to the farmhouse for a fall get away. We love the quiet surroundings and all that the house has to offer. Sheryl, the host is easy to contact and any small issues or glitches we've had during our stay have been quickly resolved by the owner. We are already looking forward to returning next fall.

Summary: This was a great place for our family to meet and have a great spot to relax and also to celebrate in a quiet rural setting. Very spacious. Our grandchildren enjoyed seeing the animals and Sheryl, our host, was very helpful and attentive. We were not disappointed!
