Restaurant Opening Hours: Monday – Thursday 12pm – 3pm, then we re-open at 5:30pm – 8:30pm Friday & Saturday 12pm - 3pm then we re-open 5:30pm - 9pm Sunday - 12pm – 5pm We have a superb lunchtime and evening menu (not Sunday evening) as well as light snacks, sandwiches and ciabattas. Positive: The breakfast was fine plus we found the bedroom & bathroom spacious. There were however quality/ workmanship issues with the FF&E. In particular, the shower/ bath was devoid of safety features ie. a shower mat & a couple of grab handles for ease of access/ egress

Summary: We were in the area as a close relative is very unwell in Poole Hospital. The accommodation was OK

Positive: Super friendly staff and so helpful. Lovely food, reasonably priced in a very pleasantly decorated restaurant area of the pub. Beds were really comfortable. Special thanks to the Manager for going the extra mile with her help. Great full English breakfast with very tasty local sausages! One of our party came home and rebooked to stay again and explore more of the area.

Summary: Perfect for 'Cousins on Tour' who were visiting NT Kingston Lacy 15 mins away by car.

Positive: Upgraded room, v friendly staff, gorgeous room and massive bathroom, v generously stocked tea/coffee facilities, housekeeping, long bath,

Negative: Soap and shampoo containers v high up and awkward to reach, black mould on tiles, bacon in the mornings so tough you had to pick it up by yiur fingers to bite it as you couldnt cut it
