Positive: We stopped at Hostal Esmeralda as part of our Camino de Santiago. Clean room, comfy bed, very adequate for one night. Basic accommodation but it had all you need for one night.

Negative: Bathroom and overall deco is a bit tired, but very clean.

Positive: Beautiful restored rooms and bathrooms each with their own theme. Lovely large rooms with very well equipped bathrooms. Great location and very welcoming staff.

Positive: The ambience and old-world charm felt upon entering was confirmed by the reserved but homely welcome from the lady who took us in and to our room. A charming hotel tucked away from (but so close to) the madding crowd. Great find, lovely staff, quiet and comfortable room. Easy to recommend.

Negative: We didn't not like, but to help the maintenance crew... the shower / bath leaked into the sleeping area. And, one bed light switch didn't fully isolate electricity to the lamp. Upon switch-off, it still glowed. Otherwise, nothing to dislike.

Positive: Nice, spacious room with balcony. Very clean. We had dinner at the hotel and it was delicious, one of the best we’ve had on the Camino. The hosts were warm and welcoming.
