Positive: The location was incredible and so close to many restaurants and the beach! The highlight for me was the staff, Adriana in particular went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. She was such an amazing host!

Positive: We had a private air-conditioned family room with our own bathroom, right across from the street from the 3K sandy beach, and the best restaurant on the island! The owner and her family are so attentive, and even made special corn cakes for those in our family who are gluten-free. Every morning at the time of our choosing, we were treated with an island-grown fruit salad, local eggs and bread or pancakes, a variety of fresh juices, coffee and tea- all included with the affordable room rate! The host stayed in close touch with us over WhatsApp to connect us with the most affordable snorkeling and hiking trips, and arranging a taxi service for us. An e-bike and mountain bike rental shop is next door, and a bodyboard and surf rental shop is close by. Hostal Janet is less of a hostel, and more of a boutique hotel. It is in a safe and fun neighborhood, and very welcoming to couples, solo travelers, and families!

Positive: Super friendly staff. We stayed in a triple room facing the back. It was quiet, clean, and the beds were comfortable! Nothing fancy but exactly what our small family needed as a base for our Isabela Adventure! Also right across from the beach. Great fresh breakfast each morning. Water refill in common area.

Positive: Perfect location, to 2 minutes away from the beach, practically in front of one of the nicest and coziest bars in the island and with great service. Great wifi and good breakfast too. Special thanks to Janet, for making me feel like at home, taking care of me and helping me organizing the tours. I will highly recommend this hostal to anyone visiting Isabela.

Negative: The only thing - which is out of control of the management - is that I found a huge spider in my room a late night and I could not do much about it :D.

Positive: We travel as a family of 5 (2 couples and 1 single) so we took 3 rooms with private bathroom. First of all, highly recommend staying in the Isabella, second and very important Janet family is lovely, helpful and patient, service is very very good! Thanks a lot. They organized all the tours with good prices and good guides (3 different ones) they all went well. Breakfast was varied each day different and really tasty. Rooms are big and confortable. Near the hotel (some meters away) there is a great beach bar we went several times (there are beach games, nice cocktails, nice music, chill island style). Restaurants are also nearby. We also recommend to go to muro de lagrimas (with a picnic and water) and spend the day in the many stops they have. Thank you Janet family for all, we had a incredible time! We certainly recommend to spend your holidays here.
