Summary: This was the most comfortable place of our stay in Cuba. The suite is amazing, Jörg and his team are super helpful and accommodating, meals are excellent and the pool is a welcome oasis on a hot afternoon. We had a rental car, so beaches, town and the surroundings of Trinidad were easy to reach. However, Jörg will arrange or offer transport/excursions and passing taxis are plentiful.

Summary: The room was very comfortable and the bathroom lovely too. Aircon and fan worked well. They have a generator - imprtant as power was on only 3-6 hous a day when we were there. The property is relaxed, with a lovely pool, and considering location, is busy with a lot of guests. The area is quite poor, although not dangerous, and the port, although worth a look at the fishing boats, is defintely not an area to go out in for the evening. The location affords space and a pool, but means you have to take a taxi or transport to do anything. Ancon beach is great for lunch - Perla Negra beach bar recommended. We also loved La Boca, a small port 3-4 km west of Traindad, a 10 minute ride away. Very peaceful with 2 or 3 bars over looking the sea. The Aquarium bar at the end is best value. So peaceful and great food. Also half the prie of the dollar menu one closer to the centre. As a personal thing, we didn't like the amount of smoking in the outside dining area at the hostal. This is not the hostal's fault, but the other guests seemed generally a bit younger and less considerate when we were eating. The food was excellent by the way. Fresh lobster and fish. You'll eat so well in Trinidad.

Summary: Clean, safe, secure and comfortable. This beautiful and cozy place was truly an oasis. The host was warm, welcoming and very informative. The staff were kind and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. From our peaceful morning coffee in the absolutely stunning atmosphere of the outdoor seating area to their excellent recommendations and suggestions regarding the ‘best spots’ around town- we felt we were at home and completely cared for. Thanks to Julio for his kindness, attention and sociability. He kept us amazed and well cared for. Also, the coffee was amazing and served with a friendly smile and kind disposition. Thank you to the chef.

Summary: The public spaces are amazingly beautiful, you almost don't want to leave. Rooms are more modest. There is a generator that makes sure everything works also during blackouts. Staff was really nice and helpfull. Food was really good. Our special thanks to Julio for all his help and the best Pina Coladas in Cuba! I can highly recommend staying here.

Summary: Our stay at Las Palmas was great! The accommodation has a generator which was very helpful during power cut. The pool was clean and lovely. The cocktails were AMAZING! Would absolutely recommended. They were helpful with booking taxis, our next Casa and Colectivo. Thank you!

Summary: We highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful place in Trinidad. The pool was amazing and the people working there were amazing. They helped us book all we needed while this hotel is about 10 min away from trinidad, they always were able to help with booking taxi, nanny etc. We had breakfast daily and it was pretty standard but good. We had dinner there most night and it was really good. We had the master room with the jacuzzi! It was super large and very confortable. I highly recommend this place if you are solo or family travellers

Summary: Las Palmas was an oasis of peace, good food and really really nice stad. Julio was the best and also the owners were very nice and flexible. The pool was very clean and specias. The house is between Trinidad and the beach. You have to take a taxi to both and taxi’s are a bit expensive. But overall the stay was wonderfull.
