Summary: I really loved and enjoyed my stay there. It is a peaceful place and really close to the beach. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Summary: Just spent 5 nights at Hosteria Mandala with a couple friends. I really enjoyed it. During my exploration of the town, I didn't see any other property that I would have rather stayed. It is on the northern edge of the town\beachfront, but the town is not large enough for that to be a concern. It was at most a 15 minute walk to any place on the beach. The property is broken into several small buildings with a few rooms per building. The buildings are surrounded by various plants and trees giving each room a secluded feeling. I believe each room has its own private outdoor space with hammocks and other seating. Because of the layout, I didn't have a clear ocean view, but the view of the plants made up for it. The beach is right out the front entrance of the property and since it is a little off from the main drag, the beach seems very private. We saw several iguanas, hummingbirds, and other wildlife on the property. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast was more than adequate with 3 different options. I highly recommend this property.

Summary: Paradise on the beach. Lovely cabins with porches and hammocks, surrounded by nature and birds. Fabulous and the best place to stay in Puerto Lopez!

Summary: Beautiful, unique, scenic and interesting spot to spend a night or a week. Much to do on sight, and walking distance to the shops, restaurants and activities of the Malecon. Steps off the beach, with beautiful gardens, and many lovely surprises unique to the property. Homemade gelato, hand carved furniture and board games. Truly a magical place.
