The Space:
Our family-friendly cabin is packed with amenities and fun for couples, families or groups of friends.
The cabin includes:
- Two bedrooms: one with a queen bed, the other bedroom with a queen/twin bunk bed (sleeps 3)
- Wood burning fireplace to keep you warm
- Fully-stocked kitchen with stove/oven and microwave
- Smart TV where you can quickly sign-in to your favorite streaming service

Please note:
Our property is nestled in a beautiful mountainous area—perfect for relaxing and unplugging. Please note that the roads leading to the home may be gravel, uneven, and winding in places. While most vehicles can access the property, slower driving is advised, especially after rain or during winter months. For added comfort, we recommend a 4WD/AWD vehicle with good clearance.
Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!
We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family- and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).
Wi-Fi is provided, but due to the remote setting, service can sometimes be slower or spotty. We suggest downloading any essential content in advance.

Beyond the cabin itself, we love how close we are to Bryce Resort (about a 15 minute drive away). The resort has tons of things to do – from skiing and snow tubing in the winter, to swimming, kayaking, and golfing in the summer. And of course, many great restaurants, bars, and shops as well. Plenty to keep everyone entertained!

Summary: The cabin was perfect for our needs: small, quiet, fairly secluded, and with a fire pit. It was clean with a few missed spiderwebs in the windows and ceiling. It had a variety of kitchen utensils and cookware to cook out meals but was missing measuring cups so had to improvise. Also, the propane tank was empty and the spare was missing, but the host was responsive had a new one brought in the next morning. Also, the listing and house manual mentioned A/C window units but none were installed. Not sure if they remove them for the winter and just haven't put them back in yet but the first day it was a bit toasty in the cabin. Luckily the rest of the weekend was cooler. Despite the few hiccups, we had a good time at the cabin and would recommend for anyone seeking the same vibe we were

Summary: We stayed at this cabin for a weekend getaway and while there were some highlights, it fell a bit short of expectations.When we arrived, the air freshener scent was overwhelming — like it was covering up the fireplace smell, which I would’ve preferred. Thankfully, it faded after a while.The cabin could use more attention to detail with cleaning. There was a lot of dust on the ceiling fans, plants, and top of the fridge. This became an issue since it was warmer than expected (75) and although the listing mentioned window AC units, they weren’t there. Not sure if they’re removed for the winter, but it would help to clarify that. The dusty fans weren’t an option either, so it was pretty warm both nights.On the positive side, the hot tub was clean, well-maintained, and a great time.The property’s exterior could use some cleanup too. We noticed cans and other trash scattered around, which took away from the peaceful setting.A heads-up: the drive is no joke. We have 4WD and didn’t need it, but you literally have to cross through a creek and go straight up a steep mountain to get there.Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay — but with better cleaning, a clearer listing, and tidying up the property, it could be a great little spot.

Summary: The road to cabin is sketchy which we knew was a gravel road and you have to ride over a small creek. Then a steep incline past a mean rottweiller from house on the left. The cabin is small and quaint! Clean and smelled great! Fully equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and beds to sleep in. Only one TV with apps to watch shows or movies. Lots of deck space and nice spacious hot tub. The second night of stay hot tub was cold! We contacted Tony the property manager and no problem rest of stay! Great communication with property manager and house cleaner! We had a great time with family and friends in VA!

Summary: This place is out there. Four wheel drive recommended. The communication with the host is excellent as well. That said at night you'd never know there are other cabins. Very intimate Valentine's Day stay. Definitely stay here if peace and quiet is your thing, also it's got a hot tub!!!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It had everything we needed for a NYE weekend getaway. We explored the area a bit, including swover creek brewery, cave ridge winery, and freeds biscuit company. There was also a decent hike nearby. We didn’t need to leave the cabin aside from that. We cooked our own dinners and hung out in the cozy cabin. I would definitely recommend this place for relaxing and unwinding in nature.

Summary: We spent the Thanksgiving holiday and weekend in this lovely cabin and had a great time. Three teens, my mother-in-law, my wife and I mostly just hung out in the main room, talking, watching TV, and enjoying the remoteness of the place. Clear nights brought incredible views of the stars and the fire pit outside provided warmth while we soaked it all in. We also used the hot tub a few times. All in all, the house was great. Wi-Fi was quite good, strong enough for us to watch TV and also stream video on one or two other devices. The property is near the end of a long road up into some wooded hills. The area was nice and quiet. We walked some on the property and up and down the road when the dog needed to go, but any real walking/hiking requires driving to a trail somewhere. Not a problem but something to note if you want to be able to hike during your getaway. Communication with the owner was consistently helpful and well timed. We also brought our dog, who appeared to enjoy himself, too. Tied to a tree near the fire pit was a long leash, maybe 50 feet. Clipping him to that allowed him to hang out and roam around while we were enjoying the fire or just sitting outside.

Summary: came to visit for a few days with another couple for an event. Everything is new and it's clear they care with how clean it is. Communication was great. Best part was the new hot tub they just added, super private.

Summary: This was the perfect place for me and my dog to escape from the city. It was clean and cozy and while near other cabins it was not close enough to hear or even see any neighbors. The back deck was great for watching the sunrise or enjoying an evening in the woods. It is located near Shenandoah, perfect for hiking. All instructions and access worked as directed and Tony was accessible to make sure we got checked-in ok and if we needed anything. Overall it was a great trip!
