Summary: I had a stop over in Istanbul for one night, so just literally needed a hotel for a single night, with the intention of spending the next day around the city. I have been to Istanbul many times, so was familiar with the area etc. I picked this hotel because it is close to the metro and tram facilities. It took longer than expected to get in from the new airport, so I didn't check in till midnight this was not a problem. They were expecting me, and in moments I had my key card and was shown to my room. Size wise the room was totally fine, as I said I just needed a few hours of sleep and get ready for an early start. All the features as specified, fridge, air con etc. In the morning I had the breakfast, was good pretty much what I was expecting. Had some toast and tea and was ready to get going.

Summary: This is a very run down hotel in an area where most people don't like to go out in the evening. This part of the city is very busy with workers transporting/carrying packages of clothing. The only reason for staying here is that it is near the IDO ferry which departs early in the morning but there are better hotels in the neighborhood which I'd rather stay at next time.
