Positive: Jeannette, our host, was extremely friendly and helpful. Thomas and her should be proud of how well they run the hotel and we wish them the best ! The location of the hotel is very close to the train station, so getting back to the hotel room is quick and easy. We absolutely loved the breakfast buffet. The dinner here was good too on the night we ate here. We liked the food at the Hotel Alpenblick too, which is next door. It's very quiet and the bed is comfortable, so you should get a good night's sleep here. The shower is excellent and the bathroom is spacious. The town Murren is beautiful and like heaven on earth.

Positive: Such kind and helpful staff! We do not speak German and their English speaking ability was so appreciated. The owner also made some wonderful suggestions as to where we might visit in the area and provided maps along with many ideas. The view from the hotel and on our walking excursions was beyond beautiful! The food in the dining room is excellent! Locally sourced and delicious!
Negative: Nothing I can think of.

The location was very accessible and made day trips extremely easy. The view from the room was stunning. The room was extremely good value and was a good size, very clean and comfortable.
Negative: The only thing was the tourist or city tax which I didn't know about until we signed out.

Positive: The room was large with lots of space for suitcases and moving around. The view was spectacular from the balcony and it is very close to the BLM train station. The owner was very friendly and helpful with information. The breakfast was great and we ate two dinners at the hotel restaurant and both were very good.
Negative: It would have been nice to have a mini-fridge in the room, but it wasn't a problem. There is no elevator so if lugging your suitcase up several flights of stairs is a problem, look for another hotel.
