Positive: Great location in the town on a small beautiful square near the old Schloss. We were in the annex across the small road which is not historic. From the room you have good views and a balcony overseeing the Schlossgarten. Although the restaurant in the hotel is closed ( only serving a very good breakfast) there are a good Greek and a Chinese restaurant next door with nice terraces. Kaffee und Kuchen are at 5-7 mins walk and an icecream cafe that stays open until approx 20.00h. Very good starting point for beautiful hiking. Sufficient easy parking.
Negative: Annex Room was not very large with lights too bright. But a very good mattress, good shower. So overall a good deal but no historic feel and a bit white, modern although some Keith Haring on the wall. (We had the 'art' classroom).
Summary: Great location in historic area with good parking and a nice square.

Positive: Nice and quiet. Breakfast was great with vegetarian options.
Negative: It would have been nice to know that the room was in a separate building from the breakfast building and the reception building.

Positive: The hotel consists of multiple buildings, I was in the 'Fliegende Klassenzimmer' building. The room was quite large, besides the double bed there is also a desk and a full couch in there with room to spare. There also was a small balcony with a table and chairs so sit in the sun. The breakfast buffet was excellent, really extensive selection. The location is beautiful, it is located in a low traffic area at a square with a monument and some water features. On the square there are also two restaurants and a cafe, which is very convenient.
Negative: The TV is one of the simple 'smart' ones, which is quite slow in changing channels, and doesn't remember the volume setting when turning it on again.
