Positive: Great location. Nice modern rooms. Overall good size shower. Nice breakfast.

Negative: Interesting check in experience. Steep small stairs to get to the rooms. I guess this is to be expected in an old building such as this.

Positive: Breakfast was great. The dining room was a great size so easy to find a spot. Loved the old world charm of the place and the location.

Negative: Getting in and out of the tub for a shower was a little tough.

Positive: We stayed on the triple room. Super spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good. The location can't be better in Bacharach. The views from the room are breathtaking.

Negative: The description of the room states that there is no lift in the hotel, I suggest adding what floor each room is at or how many sets of stairs you need to go through to get to the room. That was an unexpected bit of extra cardio every time we wanted to go up. The triple room is the top floor and can get hot if you don't leave the aircon on during the day which is not great for the environment. That said, we did happen to be there during unusually hot days of this year.

Summary: Would stay again but on a lower floor.
