Summary: My main goal was to see the Maya Devi where Shakyamuni Buddha was born. Hotel Ananda Inn is just steps from the archway where the short walk to the Temple begins. Excellent service from the management and waiters from the adjoining restaurant where we ate all of our meals.

Summary: Yes Lumbini is mosquito kingdom but still you can enjoy your stay with a clean room w/hot shower, kind&friendly staff, delicious meal served from the restsurant on the ground floor.

Summary: Wow! By far the best hotel I stayed in while in Nepal. The best air conditioning for certain and it was needed for the very hot temps. Close to the gate to see the birthplace of the Lord Buddha and the pillar of Asoka. Nice little restaurant on site, friendly staff. Clean rooms. A little more money but we ll worth it!
