Summary: I did not like the area where the hotel was located. The surrounding area was considered a rough and seemed a bit unsafe. Other than that thd hotel was lovely and very clean with friendly staff and service.

Summary: I typically have a great experience at this hotel! From the moment I walked in, the check-in process was a breeze. The front desk person was incredibly warm and welcoming, one of those people who instantly makes you feel like you’ve arrived somewhere cozy and familiar. My room was clean, comfy for the price. Overall, it was a smooth, relaxing stay with genuinely friendly service. I’d absolutely book again!

Summary: Hotel is a good place to lay your head down for a couple days if needed. It’s not luxury and smells very musty/damp. Staff isn’t mean, but definitely not welcoming. There is nothing to do in Colon and definitely nothing to do around this hotel, so if you’re backpacking and wanna check out Colon, just skip it and save yourself the money. There’s literally nothing to do. We thought the reviews were a bit exaggerated, but it’s definitely in a rougher area.

Summary: The Hotel Andros is always my go-to when staying in colon Panama, but each time without failure the front desk staff has some sort of issue / attitude. I typically pre-pay my reservations to reduce wait times and hassles but the front desk staff always comes up with a new “rule” in regards to check-in. I’ve never been offered a food voucher, they are not generous with towels and seem not to realize that customer service goes a long way
