Positive: Very friendly staff. They were flexible with check in times, and tried to help us as best they could with the parking situation (there was a busy event nearby). The rooms were clean and comfy.

Positive: The proximity to the event and nearby dining. The windows opened nice and wide and there was a pleasant breeze. The room stayed cool despite the hot weather. We were allowed to move the refrigerator as long as we moved it back and we could park the car all day, even on check out day.

Negative: It had passable things. The mattresses were too hard, the pillows too lumpy, despite the fact that it’s an old building the way they set up the plugs and choice of electrical items made this harder than it had to be. If you placed anything on the top shelf of the fridge it froze the items rather than chilled them. The ceiling, mirror and shower had cracks, the sinks and shower leaked (unless you screwed them very hard, repeatedly) there were stains on the carpet and just generally in desperate need of an update. There were too few lights and when you walked by the closet (which was the main route of the room) the doors and floors rattled-audibly.
