Positive: A Munich classic, amazing staff, amazing amenities, one has to make time to really enjoy the hotel.
Negative: Our rooms were extremely warm. We turned off all heating and turned the ac to cold but it didnt help. Also very low ceilings, I am not sure that lines with the hotel’s previous old world charm. The lobby and entrance is also very underwhelming. I feel the recent renovations didn’t do justice to this beautiful institution.

Negative: The renewed parts of the hotel are quite anonymous, not at the level of the well known Bayrischer Hof. Looks like a medium level hotel. The lounge and lobby are poor, the warmth of the previous set up is lost. The caffè area at the entrance is extremely poor in furnishing.
