Positive: We went to a show at the Beacon theater. Location could not have been more convenient! I wish I could remember the man at the front desk who helped us figure out how to use the subway, he was AMAZING!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Negative: No valet parking. It was very difficult to find a garage that would park our Yukon.

Positive: Fun efficient quirky hotel. My room had a microwave/ fridge / tea kettle etc etc Great location. Very very friendly and accommodating staff. A++ Also next door to a diner and a Starbucks.

Positive: Friendly front desk, doormen and housekeepers. Room was neat and clean.
Negative: I was surprised that our 3 night staff had such a different rate for the 3rd night. First 2 nights $468 per and 3rd night $1052. When I looked at your availability calendar $1052 is significantly higher than any other night in the month.
Summary: Overall very nice except for the last day’s rate.

Positive: The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. Luc at the front desk and Jett the doorman were especially wonderful. We even got a free room upgrade! The room was spacious, extremely clean, and beautifully decorated. We were on the newly renovated 23rd floor. The small kitchenette was very helpful. The location was wonderful. It's in a less touristy part of town but is still a very short taxi ride to all the main attractions. There is a grocery store across the street, and plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance.
Negative: We couldn't figure out how to control the a/c in the room.... we couldn't get any heat....so it was a bit chilly in the room.

Positive: The staff and the location are great. I had a friend stay there before and they really liked the place. She was traveling with her young son and the kitchenette made a huge difference, as did Fairway market across the street. We were here for culture and were happy to be able to leave our car in front of the hotel for a small price... and they were not uptight about it at all. In general, the staff was accommodating and helpful. The room was large for NYC, though a bit pricey as with everything. It is not a "deal" but good value for NY prices.
