Summary: Friendly, kind and professional staff, amazing room (suite), great breakfast and a bar that can make real cocktails. Hotel has everything you may need - A/C, pool, hair dryer, etc.

Summary: I can not believe I have never heard of this hotel before! What a beautiful place and we loved everything about it! The service was amazing, the food was great and the people were so friendly. Beautiful room and good beds. I will definitely be back with my family again.

Summary: We have been on the hotel a couple of times before. This year we tried the apartments and we where very positive about the experience. Corona have made it’s impact and there where a lot of new rules being implemented, while we where there. The pool for instance, you could only swim in for 20 minutes each day (on a reserved time). The same with time reservations for saunas. I think this was frustrating for many- but I can understand the need for the rules, in these COVID-19 times. The breakfast and staff was wonderfull as ever and the trip worth every time!

Summary: The hotel birke is a beautiful hotel in many ways, absolutely 5 star reception area, bar and restaurant. Beautiful furnishings, service and lovely and cosy in the winter with open fire in these shared areas. I had a cosy garret room which was lovely in a lot of ways except for the carpet, which was really very very stained with drops and brown marks, it really needs replacing or a thorough steam clean and was off putting, i did not want to walk on it as it did not feel clean the sheets and bathroom were very clean though, the wooden casing around the bed needed a bit of a clean or replacing ie furnishing just a bit tired ,perhaps fair enough for 3 star but the carpet is not really passable and felt dirty even if it eas not ne ause of all the stains. I also would have liked more explanation when i checked in as i was unaware of the processes like where to book for dinner and missed out on a table, and was not explained about breakfast or other facilities/amenities.

Summary: A nice hotel to relax with the family, friendly staff and a very good breakfast buffet. The only minus is the parking place in high season. Quite difficult to find a close parking if you come late.
