Negative: My room was in the third floor without lift. Corridor was very dark. No lights. Pillows not comfortable and matter was tough.

Positive: A beautiful hotel with incredible views of the mountains. Staff were very friendly and would greet you throughout the day. Breakfast was simple yet tasty. Coffee made to order.
Negative: Only downer was that the wifi did not work at all in the rooms (top floor). Sat on the steps near floor 1 to use internet one evening.

Positive: Very cosy, small room and bathroom. It is out of the way of all the crowds, with beautiful views of the mountains. There is free parking right out the front. The breakfast was delicious as was the restaurant for dinner. There is a bus stop right out front with free rides to town.
Negative: The Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room. We were on the top floor so having to carry everything up three flights of stairs was painful. The bed was hard, there was no hairdryer and no air-con or fan.
Summary: Very peaceful accommodation with gorgeous views.

Positive: romantic and quiet place far from rushing centre of grindelwald.friendly and helpful staff .we receive bonus a bus card free of charge from the owner during the all periode of renting!!!! all places clean in swiss style .food at local restaurant 😋 .
Negative: to many stairs.modest but well done and keep amenities.

Positive: I intended to stay solo and then given a particular circumstance, my son was able to join me. The location and experience of finding it to be snowing at the top of the gondola was wonderful. The staff, however, were gruff and confrontational.
Negative: I was given a price for my room, which J shared in the end. I wrote many messages, to inform of the extra person and not once was I told my price would double. We spent lots of extra money on 2 dinners and wine, but when it came time to pay the bill promised at booking, it had doubled. In CHF it's a lot of extra money for sharing a twin bedroom. Anyway, I would have expected prior warning and a chance to check the extra cost of a 2nd person.
Summary: Great view, amazing location, gruff owner.

Negative: Quite far from center even though there is bus stop next to hotel. Wifi was really sucks, informed the staff and old lady (owner?!), hope they can improve it, hair dryer not avail in the room, have to deposit. No elevators, please make sure to just bring small luggage!
Summary: Not really a comfortable for us to enjoy
