Positive: Wonderful little hotel with a personal touch. Paola and Dario are fabulous. The property had a lovely pool and a thermal pool as well to spend a lazy morning or two in.

Positive: Stop reading this review and go book now before you lose your spot! The hotel owners, Dario and his wife Paola, are the kindest people you'll meet. They work tirelessly to ensure that guests are as comfortable and satisfied as can be. I organized a surprise proposal at their hotel and they went above-and-beyond to ensure that my fiancé would feel special with a room full of balloons, romantic music, and celebratory champagne. The hotel property itself is literal paradise. Each room has a tremendous view of the ocean and comes stocked with everything you'll need for your time on the island. The hotel property includes a marvelous daily breakfast as well as its own thermal pool and accompanying swimming pool. This is undoubtedly the best hotel on Ischia! The location, in Forio, is spectacular. Every element of your stay will be perfect due to the staff's commitment to excellence. Don't hesitate any longer, book your stay before it's too late!

Positive: I have no words to describe this stunning property. Conveniently located next to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, Spiaggia della Cava dell’Isola, the hotel features a gorgeous garden, a lovely terrace where breakfast is served, and a pool where you can relax after a day at the beach. The bus stop is just a 7-minute walk from the hotel, and tickets are available at the reception. But what truly sets this place apart is the dedication of the staff. Everyone is incredibly attentive, and Paola, the owner, helped us with everything we needed. She waited for us at the port and brought us to the hotel, gave us tips on what to visit, and even arranged early morning transport at 5 AM to Ischia Porto, where we had to catch the ferry. We were even able to enjoy a coffee and breakfast before leaving so early. We had a dream vacation. We hope to return someday. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Positive: My daughter and spent 4 days in Ischia at hotel Ideal. The owner, Paola is such a genuine and kind person. I feel lucky to have had the privilege to know her! Not only was she incredibly helpful prior to my arrival with coordinating activities, transportation and overall assistance she was so willing to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Paola even drove us to different activities and set up an incredible boat tour of the island. Her entire team is like one big family that felt apart of by the time we left. Breakfast and dinner was divine! This is must stay hotel and missing Ischia and hotel Ideal would be missing out on a wonderful experience.

Positive: This was the perfect place to stay in Ischia. The property is absolutely beautiful. The room was very comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful, including booking dinner reservations and transportation to the ferry port for me. The location is great, an easy walk to the beach, thermal pools, and town. Would absolutely stay here again.

Positive: The hotel is run by a charming couple who are very attentive in meeting your travel and information needs. It was nearish the beach and the bus stops and had a gorgeous garden with olive trees and two great pools
Negative: The room was quite small and no accessible cupboard for the person on the far side of the bed and the view of the sea was to the side and not very visible. So a bit disappointed considering how much we paid - £200 a night. There were no nice toiletries and they charged 5 euros for a pool towel hire. At breakfast we were surprised by instant coffee and no fresh juice or fruit salad. Dinner was good value but served in a dark basement room rather than in the garden and a bit of a limited menu

Positive: We were lucky enough to get a newly refurbished room with its own terrace and sea view. The room was a good size and very nicely decorated, with a beautiful modern bathroom featuring gorgeous hand-painted tiles. Dario and Paola were so hospitable and welcoming. Dario picked and dropped us at Forio Port and was always happy to suggest places to visit. The pool was a great place to relax in the afternoon and the thermal pool was really good.
Negative: The room had a small hanging space, and although they brought extra hangers, it was inadequate for dresses and maxi dresses. We were surprised not to have a kettle or coffee making facilities. The bathroom was large and very light and airy but would have benefited from towel hooks, a vessel for toothbrushes and a soap dish. Also, the only mirror was above the sink but was hung high and at only 5’4” I could just see from my chin up.

Positive: Our stay here surpassed all expectations. The hotel has an incredible relaxed feeling. Breakfast is served in the lush garden and the owners are there every morning, greeting the guests and helping with restaurant reservations and day trips. They are two of the nicest people you could meet. There's is a really sense of family here. The rooms are beautiful, spotless, with a good sized terrace to enjoy the sunshine. We had dinner in the hotel one evening, a must. Exceptional value and delicious food, go hungry ! This is the kind of hotel you will want to return to again and again. We will be back for sure.
