Positive: Absolutely love the location! The hotel is beautifully decorated. Service was phenomenal.

Negative: Our check-in got very complicated. When I called to change the date, it was quickly resolved. However, I suddenly received two different confirmations. And trying to get a hold of someone took me seven hours. Not ideal. Especially when you’re paying. Such good money for a place. That was disappointing. I would’ve appreciated a discount or something to make up for all the trouble.

Positive: All the staff but the last one who checked us out were very courteous, professional, and efficient. Even though we found many dead gnats on one of the nightstands, the bed, and the minibar, the issue was immediately and correctly addressed by moving us to a different room. The building is nicely renovated and very tastefully decorated, but one must accept and appreciate the fact that it is an old structure. The location is excellent if one likes to walk to bars at night.

Negative: Overall, it was noisy both nights. We constantly heard noise from somewhere we couldn't identify, likely from the pipes, fan, streets outside, and even neighboring guests' pets. We stayed there for our very special occasion as we wanted some luxury. While I would love to see this hotel do well, I personally would not spend this much again.
