Positive: We did appreciate having a balcony with a beautiful sea view. Waking up to the sight of the ocean each morning was lovely and one of the main reasons we booked this room in your hotel. We had sincerely hoped our overall stay would have been better.
Negative: I would like to express my dissatisfaction with a few aspects of my recent stay at your hotel. Firstly, we were not informed in advance about the additional taxes that we had to pay. We were only told about this at the time of checkout, which came as an unpleasant surprise. Clear communication about these charges beforehand would have been appreciated. Additionally, the cleaning service in our room was inconsistent. Some days the room was cleaned well, while on others it was not cleaned at all. Dust had accumulated significantly, which triggered my dust allergy, making my stay quite uncomfortable. I often woke up with congestion because of this issue. While I enjoyed the sea view from our room, there were some issues with insects. We had mosquitoes, and even encountered small cockroaches in the room, which was unpleasant. As for the breakfast, it was repetitive and lacked variety, although the staff were generally friendly. However, only one chef spoke English, and the rest of the staff struggled to understand us, which made communication difficult. One significant issue was that the shower did not have curtains to prevent water from spilling out. We had to constantly use towels to stop the water from reaching the bed area, which was inconvenient. Lastly, after we paid the additional taxes, the director was polite, but we needed an invoice for our stay, as we were on a business trip. Unfortunately, he was initially unwilling to print it for us, and we had to involve the police to receive the invoice in both my name and my colleague’s.
