Positive: The location was good. The room was spacious and had a great floor to ceiling picture window which added lots of appreciated natural light to the room. A fabulous breakfast that was served until 11:00 am on the weekend - nice to not feel rushed! And probably one of the best breakfasts we’ve had after our three weeks of travelling through Norway. Also appreciated the late weekend checkout time.
Negative: The bed skirt and area rug in our room made the room look and feel a bit dated. We took the stairs instead of the elevator down one time and the stairwell, being carpeted, had an old slightly stale smell to it - so a few things in need of some updating. As others mentioned, parking is expensive, as the lot doesn’t belong to the hotel, but it seems to be pretty much on par with public parking in other Norwegian cities. The machine has an issue taking credit cards, so you have to pay using an app. The term “ocean view” in our booking was a bit misleading…our “ocean view” room looked out over the parking lot and shipping containers, with a some small glimpses of the water between buildings. Also there should really be a price list for the snacks and drinks provided in the room. It’s a bit deceiving how there were three snack items thrown in a bowl - as if they are complimentary- with no price list nearby indicating otherwise.

Positive: The breakfast is fabulous and it is a ocean view room
Negative: The staff misled us the parking fee can be paid by car rental co even we found out rhat it is not true. Our credit card was rejected and we struggle how to settle the fee after leaving the car park and by AI advice that a autopay.io web site can settle afterwards.
