Summary: Fair room, slightly hard beds, weird smell in the room throughout the stay. On the last day the room was filled with an unbearable fart smell

Summary: We drove in from the Genoa airport and needed to make sure the hotel offered parking. The staff was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and communicative. It was easy to find and even though we arrived before check in they had space that allowed us to freshen up and store our luggage so that we could keep to our schedule as we were in town only for one night and had a lot to squeeze in. The room was HUGE! We traveled with our 2 teenage children so we chose the 2 bedroom 1 bath room and it was perfect. The hotel is a short 15-20 min walk to the Rapallo train station where you can easily purchase an on/off pass for the family to visit Cinque Terre. Breakfast was delicious with so much variety and the ambiance was beyond lovely. I would highly recommend Hotel Canali and will visit again should we ever find ourselves back in that region.

Summary: What a nice hotel. A lovely old building but beautifully maintained in a quiet part of Rapallo. Friendly helpful staff; a good quality self-service breakfast and free parking all made for an enjoyable hassle free stay. To get to the main part of the town from the hotel it is about a ten minute walk through a park. If visiting Rapallo again we will definitely book this hotel.

Summary: If ever you find yourself in Pontevera, then this is probably the best place to stay. The hotel is nice enough, but the surroundings have no redeeming features. The only attraction is the Piaggio Museum nearby. My only other comment is why does this hotel exist?
