Positive: It's a beautiful romantic place in Rio Dulce. It's not reachable by road, instead you need to get a shuttle (una lancha) from and back to the town of Rio Dulce. Generously the first pick-up and the ride back to town on the date of check-out are free, on other days it'd cost 25Q. The food in the restaurant is high quality, delicious and freshly prepared, and the cocktails are amazing!! The music in the common area was always super nice!
Negative: There wasn't a kitchen for guests and not even a fridge. You need to pay for drinking water, too. Keep that in mind if you're travelling on a budget, since there's no way to store and prepare you own food. That can add a lot to your daily budget! Since this wonderful place is literally in a jungle, a lot of insects are around. We discovered some not so small spiders during our stay. Depends on you, if you can deal with it, otherwise seek help from the staff or hide under your mosquito net, haha ๐Ÿ˜„

Negative: Very quiet when I was there, but visited in the off season.

Positive: Absolutely amazing place, surrounded by the most beautiful nature. There is nothing to do expect going on kayak trips on the river and chilling out by the bar or the hammocks - it is perfect! If you want to rest, this is the place. The dorms were neat - very spacious, protected from bugs and not too hot. I stayed alone in the bed upstairs for the three nights I was there and it was just like having a private room - a crazy cool private room. The staff was really friendly and the food was nice.
Negative: Got to pay for your own water. You should add crypto as a payment option and maybe switch those red sun umbrella for something that fits more in the overall scenario.
Summary: I would live there, easy.

Negative: Nothing to do, you are in stock at the hotel place little. my friend slept in a bunk bed and she didn't sleep because it was unbreathable with the hit, no place and dead insects. No place to do some yoga, no sofa you have to pay the lancha for excursions. Staff not very friendly they made us pay more for the lancha than through the captain, assuring us that it was a better price
