Summary: Great location, within easy walk from the train station. Check-in was quick and efficient. If you arrive early, you can leave your luggage while go you explore Bern's beautiful old town. The rooms are on the small side, but the beds are comfortable. There's a portable fan that you can set in the window to bring in much needed fresh air. Our rooms faced away from the busy traffic on the street, so it was quiet and allowed us to sleep with the window wide open. Breakfast is CHF 15 and excellent. Check-out was simple and accurate.

Summary: The room was SMALL. We were bumping into furniture all the time just moving around. I paid for a balcony room, which looked out on a bunch of machinery in between a bunch of buildings. In addition to being a horrible view, there was only one chair out there, so we never used it. The breakfast was extra and not cheap, so we skipped it and the worst thing was that the wi-fi was only good for up to three devices. I've NEVER seen that before. The one positive thing was a good location for proximity to the train and city tram stations.
