Positive: Nice location near the historic center. The hotel had a beautiful and unique design. The restaurant at the rooftop of the hotel was also very good and affordable, one of the best places we ate in Quito.
Negative: We stayed for only one night, so I don’t know.

Positive: The property was well situated, with not a long way to walk with backpacks to the Barbour. And only a few minutes taxi to the airport. Lovely room, with lots of ‘sitting areas’ throughout the hotel. The pool was so refreshing and our first pool in 6 weeks of travel in South America, so we were grateful for an extra day here (due to the tsunami warning). We could store our backpacks here whilst we were over at Isabela Island too.
Summary: Fantastic pool which was warm enough to use on the sunny day!

Positive: Super helpful staff, nice bedrooms and good breakfast. Good location 5 Min walk to central plaza. Allowed us to leave bag's as our plane left late in day.
Negative: Wifi was ok but worked well only in some bedrooms

Positive: I had a good stay at Casa Francisco. The building seemed beautiful, though I didn't have a lot of time to explore. My window was facing the inner courtyard, so I kept the curtains closed for privacy. The shower was nice and the wifi worked well. Breakfast was included, cooked on the spot. It was very affordable for one night, so it provided good value.
Negative: The location may feel a bit isolated when going out at night, but it's not far from the historic center.

Positive: The worse part about breakfast was the staff did not speak English. Had to guess on what to order. Location was good but as it was in the historic district, you were either walking up a hill or down a hill and at 8000 feet the air is thin.
Negative: I could have spoke Spanish.
