Positive: The location is very special, glorious views of a unesco site old village, the hotel was getting ready for the summer season so we had breakfast in their sister hotel which was very close and a very beautiful structure. Staff was kind.

Positive: The view was stunning!! The peaceful and secluded room overlooking the lake ahead was wonderful, being on a sacred mountain surrounded by history.
Negative: The lack of facilities in the hotel (due to renovation) we ate at the sister hotel, the breakfast service was very chaotic and slow, the breakfast itself was nice.

Positive: It's a beautiful location, very nice staff, we had a room with a view and a porch to sit out and enjoy the relatively cool weather the bead was good There is a parking space for guests A very good breakfast, we prefer more fresh vegetables
Negative: The shower is for small people, but you can manage. Please include a kettle, milk, tea, and coffee in the room so you can sit and relax in comfort. Italy is known for mosquitoes; we had our share too.

Negative: I am a single lady of over 80 travelling back to Tuscany from the UK in my car. My booking was accepted and then later in an email I was told that the hotel was being refurbished and there was no restaurant for dinner or breakfast and we had to go off to another hotel to eat. The hotel had a horrid closed feeling and not even a bar or anywhere to sit. I took the dog down into the garden. This was all overgrown and some of the steps were highly dangerous and crumbling. I think that it is appalling that I was not told about the refurbishment when I booked. I certainly would have booked elsewhere Also a really incredibly hard uncomfortable bed ( also this needed refurbishing!!) Personally to take €117 for this booking was quite wrong.
Summary: Don’t stay there till they have finished refurbishing the hotel

Positive: I chose this hotel as a convenient stopover on my journey from Italy to Holland, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. Nestled in a tiny, historic, and idyllic mountain town, the location is truly picturesque — like something out of a storybook. The hotel itself is housed in an older building, full of charm and character, with details that reflect its long-standing history. The rooms are decorated with vibrant, lively prints that might be a bit bold for some tastes, but I found them wonderfully artistic and full of personality. They added a unique flair to the overall experience. Just outside, you can take a beautiful walk through the winding streets of the village and follow a path up the mountain — the views along the way are stunning and well worth the effort. Conveniently, there’s a lift down the mountain located right next to the hotel. I didn’t use it myself, but it’s a great option for those who prefer not to take the car. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, adding a warm and personal touch to the stay. The highlight, however, was the hotel’s restaurant. We opted for the five-course chef’s menu and it was nothing short of magnificent — a true fine dining experience with beautifully presented dishes and rich, balanced flavors. It was the perfect end to a memorable stay.
Negative: The bathroom could use some modernization, especially in the room I stayed in, which still had a shower curtain.
