Positive: I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend this hotel. It was easy to find and park my car for free. The location is excellent, only 5 minutes to the bus stop in either direction. Santa Cristina is a beautiful town and not packed with tourists like Ortisei. The owners were super helpful and friendly. I arrived very early but my room was already available. They also made sure I could get the free bus pass for Val Gardena and printed one out for me. The entire hotel appears to have been renovated recently. It's very nicely done. My room had a little table, two armoirs, and a balcony. . The sauna downstairs was super hot as it should be. The steam room smelled and felt wonderful. The showers have ice cold water options. I enjoyed lounging at the pool.after an hour of sauna,, steam, and cold plunge. Breakfast was ample and delicious. I also ate dinner there both nights. It included salad bar, primo, soup, secondo, and dessert for €35.

Negative: I would have liked to stay longer. That is my only complaint - that my holiday was too short.

Positive: The Dolomites/Sella Ronda is world's second largest ski resort. The views on the Dolomites is breathtaking and magnificent. The Italian food, on the slopes and in the villages, is delicious, good quality and good price. The Critallo hotel is located in Santa Cristina, 25min from the autostrada. The hospitality exceeded our expectations. Very friendly crew, really made us feel home, helped us when needed and did the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The facilities were great (e.g ski room spa etc). Having the ski bus in front of the hotel made it extra convenient. We have a great time, would certainly recommend the ski resort and hotel.
Summary: Magnificent ski resort with excellent accommodations will make us come back

Positive: Very convenient. We could walk to the lift at Col Recife and Monte Plan. They gave us free bus tickets to the other lifts. St. Christina is smaller than the other Val Gardena villages, so extremely easy to get around. Some might prefer larger villages with more restaurant and shopping options, but we loved it. Nice breakfast, very clean.
Negative: I prefer outdoor pools, but the indoor pool was very nice, and more practical as this is also a winter resort area. Our only complaint is we asked for a glass of water while speaking with the front desk, and were brought a glass from the bar tender. The next morning we received a bill for the water as a bar tab!

Positive: The staff was very kind and helpful (I believe they are also the owners!). The room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast options were very good. Would 100% recommend, a true bargain for the price and would definitely stay again!
