Summary: This is a very nice and newly remodeled hotel. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast is well above average. The free minibar in the room was a surprise and provided some tasty treats and drinks. There is a lot to love about Ljubljana, and Cubo is a lovely place to stay. Only two minor complaints: 1) the room safe is pretty small—too small for a laptop and most tablets. 2) the rooms facing Slovenska Cest can be really noisy due to car and motorcycle traffic. If there is an event at Kongresni park (like a marathon) it is very loud in the rooms. I did not sleep well either night at Cubo, but otherwise it is exceptional place to stay.
