Positive: Location to the main sites of Ghent. Yes I’d stay here again. We found the DOK Brewery! Wow they had some great beers. Also eat a bucket of Mussels at ‘tklok huys brasserie’. Also there was car parking nearby.
Negative: At 6:30AM in the morning construction workers started with a loud chipping hammer on the wall next to us. Need I say more? why on a Saturday morning???
Summary: Great location for a Ghent visit.

Positive: The room was a good size with comfortable bed, smart bathroom with plenty of good towels. The breakfast was excellent - plenty of fresh fruit, bread, meat, cheese, eggs, juice, coffee...No rush, just take your time. The hotel is in a good location just around the corner from St Michael's church and a short walk to the cathedral. Very central but in a quiet street.
Negative: The public bathroom on the ground floor was just off the dining room and there is no door into the bathroom lobby. You can be seen washing your hands, freshening up.
Summary: Really good hotel in great location with very good breakfast.

Positive: Its position was excellent for us as tourists with fast and easy access to the central activity area of Ghent. Corner type shop was just across the road, so handy for drinks, fruit, nibbles, noodles etc. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Hotel room was comfortable.
Negative: Air conditioning was only cooling, but they gave us a plug in heater, so that turned a dislike to a like. Would have been nice if the tariff had included a light breakfast.

Positive: Great Location to explore the city. Room was a decent size and comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Kettle and Fridge in the room was a bonus.
Negative: Air Con was a bit erratic. Having to choose a breakfast time slot on checkin. There was always a strange unpleasant smell when you enter the hotel.

Positive: The breakfast was great And thanks to the staff that allowed us to have breakfast later than it was scheduled The location is also very convenient The staff is friendly and pleasant
Negative: The room was a loft with stairs, which was not convenient. And it was quite hot on the second floor- where the bedroom was. And we were not warned about the loft Also the AC was very old, and very noisy

Negative: Breakfast at Euro 25 feel was too expensive and so went tolocal cafe and also supermkt opposite hotel . overall though belgium is more expencive than uk.

Positive: The room was really big with great furnishings. Everywhere was very clean. A lovely coffee machine with pods. Nice big shower/bathroom. Staff were really goid and knowledgeable when I asked about the beautiful old building. Breakfast was really good.
