Summary: A beautiful historic property near to the river right in the heart of the old city of Deventer. I stayed in a studio, which had a mezzanine level and stairs up to the bed. It was well equipped and the bathroom was very modern. Note - the stairs were very steep up to the bed, so wouldn’t suit someone immobile. The stairs in the hotel are also very steep. The hotel staff were very friendly. All in all a very lovely stay.

Summary: Expectations were high, a 2 bedroom hotel-appartment at a very desirable location in the middle of the city. The reality was, a cold ( radiators did not work) noisy appartment, lacking in quality and finesse the price should warrant. To tol it all off, no hot water in the shower after 5 minutes. The proprietor did act quickly, apologized for the inconvenience, tried to fix it, but to no avail. All in all, a very bad experience in a hotel where price and value do not match.

Summary: Property was an apartment with a large kitchen and bathroom. Very well equipped and located in a quiet area of the old town. Fantastic, would definitely stay here again.
