Positive: A very well restored building, with spacious bedrooms that have neutral decor, and bedroom and ensuite fittings of the highest quality. Extremely comfortable bed and a quiet location. Very convenient for the small but lovely town/city of Durbuy.

Negative: A lot of emails via Booking.com with quite complex instructions, mainly concerning access and parking - all very efficient but this was one of ten stops on our tour and it's fortunate none of the others generated this much traffic! The reason for this was the restrictive staffed reception hours - we never met a member of staff during our stay, either at reception or the bar, so the experience was rather impersonal.

Positive: The hotel is well located and easy to reach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and everything was very clean. We especially appreciated the private parking on the property and the option to enjoy a beer in the evening via self-service - a nice touch. The room was a bit small, but still sufficient and comfortable. Overall, a very pleasant stay - we would gladly come back!

Positive: This is a self-check-in style hotel. Parking is also very clear where to park. This was also communicated to us by the hotel and we did not get lost at all. Although the hotel is only a short distance from the centre of Durbuy, we did not find it inconvenient. We could rather move slowly and enjoy the nearby nature. The building is not new, but we enjoyed the atmosphere of a European Western-style house. Breakfast starts at 8.30am. The dining room has a good atmosphere. The food was adequate. The scrambled eggs were delicious. The homemade jam and fruit were particularly good. I am sure they are of high quality. Checking out is easy when leaving the hotel, as long as you haven't used the bar drinks. It is simply a matter of putting the key back in the box. Overall, the hotel was very comfortable.

Negative: There were a few electrical outlets. But not a big problem. The dining room has to be accessed by stairs. You should be aware of the steps.
