Summary: The Hotel Iris is a lovely little hotel in the center of Auvers-sur-Oise. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and very clean. The service is very friendly and the optional breakfast is nice. The price is reasonable and the location is perfect - in the heart of all the main sights. There are a few small quirks. One is that there is no one at the reception in the afternoon and evening, so you need a code to enter by a side door and to then find your room. Once we got the instructions it was fairly simple, but it took a phone call to figure out. The other quirk is that the water temperature in the shower is set to a fixed temperature. The water was warm, but not hot. It was fine for our purposes for a one night stay, but I was glad we weren’t there during cold weather.

Summary: Loved the room, as advertised, AC was welcoming as the day was a warm one, very close to sites to see, no real interaction with staff because left early for the airport, will return again, but next time on a wed through sun, as most things are closed Mon and Tues.

Summary: We stayed 2 days and everything was perfect. The initial Welcome was wonderful - very warm and friendly. We were upgraded to a larger room at no extra cost “to allow more space for the dog”. Everything was super clean. Our room was off a small and lovely courtyard garden, very calm. Generous Continental breakfast with fresh fruits plus choice of eggs if wanted. We will return.
