Summary: We simply did not sleep, it was a hot few nights and the air con was broken. We told someone about it after the first night, they said someone would look into it. Clearly they didn’t touch it as it was the same on the second night. Also I wouldn’t rate this hotel as 4 stars, it’s very dated and missing a lot of usual amenities

Summary: This hotel was very uniquely located and features an amazing sandy beach. People and service was great throughout the stay and i highly recommend it for families. Special thanks to Andreas, Simon and David for their personal attention and service. We shall return this hotel in the future.

Summary: The beach here is amazing and only open to hotel guests. Sadly the beachside cafe and bar were closed when we visited because of it being “off season.” The restaurant onsite was reasonably priced and breakfast had a good selection.

Summary: Overall a lovely location great beach. The staff tried to be helpful. The food in the restaurant in the evening was perfectly good. The language barrier is a struggle but most of the staff persisted. The girl with the long blonde hair who once or twice worked in the Juicy bar was very rude. Seriously bad teenager attitude. We were surprised to realise that the coffee at breakfast does not come from a proper expresso machine. It was quite terrible. We were charged €5 for an Americano coffee at the Juicy Bar - most have ever paid in the world!! Not even 5 star hotels on the Cote D’Azur charge this!! Otherwise we roiled the hotel and Island.

Summary: Very near Procchio town...(good walks )on the bus route from Portofrraio...issues about the room allocated...room given had no views and was not to the specification in the booking..and that was kindly resolved the following day...

Summary: This hotel is on a small clean sandy beach which is almost private with several beach bars, The hotel is in very good condition and the staff are very friendly , The selection and quality of the food on the Dinner menu was excellent and I would stay there any time I visited Elba

Summary: This is one of the most beautiful beaches and most superb resorts on the island. If we didn't live in America, we'd be back every summer, but we hope to be back again in the coming years. Staying in this hotel made the rest of the hotels throughout our trip in Italy seem very lacking, and all along we wished we were back at Hotel Desiree! Everyone showed the utmost competence, kindness, and consideration throughout our stay and we could not have been more happy or comfortable. The deluxe room was superb, clean, spacious and private. We had a balcony overlooking the beach and were only steps from walking out to our own private reserved beach chairs and umbrella. The breakfast was good for an Italian breakfast (mostly sweets and pastries), and the dinner was also good, though we really preferred to venture out for dinner to explore the island. This was the closest to paradise we've ever seen. Highly recommended!
