Positive: The hotel is in the heart of istiklal (2 min walk) and all the transportations and everything is around you, which makes things for going out and sightseeing very practical and everything is a short walking distance. The staff were very kind, super friendly and helpful and the buffet in the breakfast felt very homemade, which I really found very cozy and nice.
Negative: Nothing. Only the clubs in the street have music until late in the night, which can be bothering when you sleep. But it is out of the hotels hands. The whole street is like that.

Positive: Great and affordable hotel in the center of Istanbul, close to Istiklal street and Galata tower. I liked the spacious room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly and flexible!
Negative: The street can be a little bit noisy during the night.

Positive: The hotel is in an excellent location, the staff are very helpful and friendly, and the price is more than reasonable for what you get. The room is not large, but it’s perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. I didn’t come to spend my time in the room anyway. Breakfast is buffet-style with more than enough choice. My only suggestion would be to change the selection of food a bit more often. The food is excellent, but the same menu can get a bit repetitive if you’re staying longer. You get a bottle of water per person every day, which is a nice touch. There is also tea, coffee and a kettle in the room, so you can make as much as you like. Our departure was early in the morning, so they prepared sandwiches and gave us water for the trip, and they arranged transport to the airport at a fair price. All in all: excellent value for money. Definitely recommended.
Negative: The internet signal in the room was not strong enough, so the connection would occasionally drop.

Negative: The hotel is located immediately next to multiple bars which is a magnet for nightlife. Rowdy thumping music until 3am! Stayed 3 nights and didn’t sleep much, max 4 hours a night. Logistically not an easy place to go out and about from. Huge incline of steep roads to get to main roads to catch train or cab. Most taxi ignore request due to the location so don’t accept trip requests. Bathrooms were not clean, shower door broken, limescale buildup, hair in shower. Every single pillowcase had dirt marks. Very limited breakfast every morning with no Turkish tea or even Simit, Boreks were rationed and there wasn’t enough for guests! Stay somewhere else, too much hassle.
