Positive: Staff was lovely and very helpful. Location is ideal, so close to many amenities, plus parking space is nearby (we left the car parked just overnight so might not be as easy to find parking during the day, not sure!). Loved the view from our room as well and the pillow provided were amazing (one more firm and a softer one). Very easy to reach as well. Breakfast had plenty of options and something gluten and lactose free which is quite hard to find in Italy.
Negative: Structure is a little old, I was expecting for the rooms you feel a little more modern a slightly more spacious. Not an issue as we needed just to sleep there but if you are hanging around Ravenna and coming back to the room more often maybe book a bigger room because the space is limited. I would also recommend bringing your own hairdryer as the one provided was not very functional. Although it was great to have lactose/gluten free options it would be great to have something more available as the free-from section was a little sad compared to how gorgeous the rest of the food was.

Positive: Hotel Diana had a wide selection at breakfast. The location of the hotel was ideal for exploring all that Ravenna has to offer - the mosaics, Dante and the wonderful array of restaurants and shops.
Negative: I was pleasantly surprised by Ravenna and the Hotel Diana and would recommend it to anyone - solo travelers, couples, families.

Positive: Very nice people. Rooms and hotel spacious, calm and central. Lovely breakfast. Perfect for my 85-year old mum... (there are some stairs at the entrance but there is a stairlift).

Negative: The room and the bathroom were a little outdated and in need of some small renovation.
