Positive: Very clean, spacious rooms. Nice pool. Laundry machine available. Decent breakfast. Walk to varenna.
Negative: The walk back up to hotel is not easy. Probably takes 20 minutes and is fairly steep. Would not recommend to older folks or people who donโ€™t want to hike. It was harder than I thought it would be and very hard to get an uber or taxi so beware.

Positive: Little gem in Perledo, with stunning views over the lake and the surrounding area, and a short walk to Varenna. Rita, and staff, were very accommodating and warm. We were picked up by a taxi in the train station, and we could check-in earlier and leave our suitcases in the room. We felt that we could have stayed way more than 2 nights if time allowed!

Positive: Great spot to get away for a quiet weekend. This spot is up above Como with incredible views from the little village. Very nice to get away from the touristic places while still having great access to pop down into different towns along the lake.

Positive: Excellent hotel up in the hills of Varenna, very peaceful and I can imagine it's an Ideal location in the busy months away from the main town. Rita was the perfect hostess, very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was fantastic and the room was perfect and a great size, would highly recommend. My friend and I only stayed one night so feel that we couldn't appreciate it as much as we would have liked! It's a steep climb up cobbles to the top but we enjoy a challenge! Just be careful as very slippery in the wet! Rita kindly offered for us to be picked up from the station or you can get a taxi ๐Ÿ˜Š Also a short walk up to the castle which is well worth a visit for the history and stunning views

Positive: A wonderful place to stay when visiting Varenna. The room was excellentโ€”spacious, clean, and equipped with a washing machine, which is especially convenient for long trips like us when you need to do some laundry. The breakfast was good, and the lady at reception was very kind and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the trail walk down the hill to Varenna town, where I discovered an amazing restaurant. Walking back up trail to the hotel after dinner was an unforgettable experience
Negative: I found it convenient since we traveled by car. However, if you have a lot of big luggage, it might be a bit inconvenient. To reach the hotel, you need to walk a little, which we actually enjoyed as it was great exercise for us. ๐Ÿ˜Š
