Positive: The surrounding area is lovely: a very peaceful town with historical sites, woods, and lots of animals. The hotel itself is decent and quite clean, with 24/7 access by code. The hotel is pet-friendly. We had a kettle and instant coffee/tea bags which was really nice There is a small parking area where you can leave your car. There are also a few shops nearby, along with larger Lidl/Penny stores.

Negative: - When we booked a room using booking.com, it was clearly stated that breakfast was included. We went to the dining room, and the cook said that we needed food cards to get the food. We went back to our room but couldn’t find them, so we went to reception, spoke with a receptionist, and showed that breakfast was included in the booking application. In the end, she agreed with us and gave us the cards. I don’t like having to fight for amenities that should already be included. - The room and hotel were fine, but the main issue was a strange smell. I’m not sure what it was, maybe some anti thermit material but it smelled like strong chemicals. The smell got onto all our clothes and our dog, so we had to wash everything, including dog, and leave the clothes and suitcase on the balcony of our flat for a few days to get rid of it. - The curtains and jalousie in the room do not block the light, so it is not possible to sleep without a mask

Positive: Great service and breakfast. Furniture was from communist times, but still in good shape, so it gave the hotel great rustical vibe.

Negative: Bathroom tiles had seen their best times, however the batrhoom itself was spacious and clean, so it was not a big deal.

Positive: It was in the centre, near restaurants. Our plans changed, so we had to find a place to stay on the spot. We got apartment like room, the kids got their own room and we had also a kitchen. Breakfast was good and tasty, coffee was great.

Negative: There was no one to check us in, it took a while to figure out how to get to our room or how to arrange the parking. Rooms were tidy and looked cleanish, but bathroom was not so clean, there were hair in the shower drainage. In the morning we met the receptionist, who didn’t speak English at all, it was hard to communicate.

Positive: Bed was comfy. Shower had strong water, good drainage. Good fridge. Wifi was great really.

Negative: While checking in, the reception tried to charge higher amount of CZK then shown in booking reservation. Then made some discount and we agreed on the price not to burn more of our time. Room needs a renovation for sure. They had no open buffet for breakfast, instead you order from previous day for a prepared plate i think. Not so conventional. Hair-dryer was written on room facility list but there were none, onced asked reception tried to rent one and charge extra. Receptionists had no English whatsoever so we had to use google translate app to communicate…
