Positive: Nice location, very close to the beach, the city itself is clean and tidy as it should. We have got one apartment that was not in the doge hotel itself, it was Fratino Pigro building, across the street. We worried about access to the beach but that was not an issue. Also, even if the beach area is under concession you can the part near the area has free access, you still can walk or swim freely there, beyond the slice assigned to you.

Negative: We have got locked twice in the bathroom, once my wife, then I helped her using a spoon from the outside, I thought it was just that she was not strong enough. But later I was looked too :D

Positive: Beach was right across the street and we had free water to fill our bottles. The staff was also very accommodating and nice.

Negative: I didn’t like my first room they had booked me in. It was old and small for 3 people. We requested a change and they showed us another room in another building adjacent to the hotel which was built in 2022 and it was fabulous. Room was brand new very spacious.

Summary: Great location for a family vacation.
