Positive: The hotel is ideally located on the main square, with plenty of restaurant and bar options on the doorstep. The staff were very friendly and patient with my quite rubbish French speaking! The room we stayed in was a great size for a family of four including two children aged 12 and 16, lots of space and storage. The large en-suite bathroom had a bath with a handheld shower, which was perfect for us. It is a beautiful town and we could easily park on the square right outside the hotel despite the summer festival being on.
Negative: Minor quibbles, but I do like a stand-up shower, there was no air conditioning but a room fan was provided. It would have been great if there was another fan (one for each bed) and a kettle in the room.
Summary: A perfect place to stay for a family of four on an overnight stop heading south from England.
