Positive: Super friendly and helpful staff - thank you! Also I was happily surprised by the quietness of my room! The hotel vibe was fascinating and aesthetic. Breakfast was delicious. The rooftop views were amazing at night, and I enjoyed my breakfast on it the next morning.

Positive: Breakfast is always a pleasure: quality coffee, a relaxed, beautiful atmosphere, and choices that change every day. We love the rooftop space and watching the ships ply the Columbia. Having the Farmer's Market outside the front door on Sunday was great.

Negative: The combination of hair drier and AC popped a GFI we couldn't fix on our own. Also, the AC unit took up space where a second night stand would have been most welcome.

Summary: A completely relaxing weekend getaway: good dining nearby (Daphne and Fede are especially good.)

Positive: The location is excellent!! The front desk went above and beyond, I mean really really excellent!!

Negative: We were in room 208. The furniture layout is really strange. The air conditioner could easily fit in the corner instead of taking up space better used to access the right side of the bed. The desk and tv stand should be flipped so the person on the right side of the bed can have a clear view of the tv instead of the desk. A mirror over the desk would be very useful. Breakfast was not nearly as good as we remembered from previous visits.

Positive: The breakfast was fine. Sufficient to my needs. We loved the elegant renovation of our room. Just as advertised, the beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed he location's convenience to boites and the Liberty.

Negative: What I didn't like was that the front door was so hard to open. Wished there was a handicap button function to help open it while pushing a suitcase. This is true also for the shower doors, my friend and I both had difficulty pushing them into place. I was also disappointed that there wasn't any refrigeration in the room. Restaurant food is so expensive yet plentiful and there was no place in the room to store doggy bags or drinks. I'm sorry I didn't think to ask the main desk to help.

Summary: An elegant, well located hotel that had no ADA front door or bar frig in the room
