Summary: 8/10 Good option at Tucuman downtown. Near historic buildings and museums. Clean and comfortable hotel. Minus star for Breakfast offered, coffee sucks, no fruits, no ham, no cheese, low variety for a 3star. VAT charged for locals, but don't expect tax receipt for that.

Summary: The Hotel Francia is in an excellent position, very, very central for both eating and shopping. It seems like Hotel Francia is prejudiced against what they call " voucher " bookings. " Voucher " includes hotel.com bookings. Result ? You will be allocated the old rooms, the noisy rooms on the first floor. You also need to argue for your " free " breakfast.

Summary: This is an excellent hotel. It is only one block from the main square, Plaza Independencia, and is convenient for shops, restaurants and all the sights. The room I stayed in was a good size and very clean with a comfortable bed. There is a free minibar with water and soft drinks. The breakfast is excellent and served in a pleasant room. The staff make sure everything is well stocked. I have been touring Argentina and Uruguay and this is the best hotel I have stayed in so far, but is one of the least expensive.
