Negative: The heater made loud noises all night. The bed was super uncomfortable. A couple good staff, but many too busy socializing to greet you, or provide service at breakfast.

Positive: I booked this hotel for the last two nights of my trip as a treat! It’s not cheap but from the moment I stepped foot in the lobby I knew it was going to be a wonderful experience! And Hotel Gault did not disappoint! My room was huge, clean with lovely little touches like the valentines chocolates and welcome note I received on arrival. It was super clean and modern, but classic at the same time, the bed was incredibly cosy and comfortable and I appreciated my complimentary hot drink on arrival which was delivered to my room and the coffee machine and kettle! Such a treat. The staff were super friendly and helpful, I didn’t want to leaven I will definitely go back.
Negative: Nothing! The only thing I could say is that the gym is tiny - jus one running machine and one cross trainer and some weights. But there are no mats, no towels and no water facilities. For such a luxurious hotel I was disappointed…

Positive: We loved this hotel for a long weekend stay over Valentine's Day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations. The hotel is located in old town but on a quiet street so you weren't bombarded with tourists.

Positive: Modern designed interiors with some original elements, expansive and well designed room, very comfortable bed, excellent breakfasts, very friendly staff. Not located in busier areas of Old Montreal yet only a short walk away. Quiet at night. Conveniently close to Square Victoria and Metro. We walked easily from the Gare Central to the hotel with our small luggage.
Negative: Only negative was the small gym with very basic equipment only
