Positive: Lovely room in an old house, recently renovated. Very comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was within a short walk of everything to see. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Positive: I found the breakfast outstanding: eggs and pastries and cakes and fruit all brought to the table. I loved the wooden furniture and wood panel ceiling, and the bed was comfortable and the room warm. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from both the old town below and the castle above.

Negative: Nothing - this was all we could have wanted in a hotel in Gjirokaster.

Positive: Friendly welcome and good sized room with a balcony overlooking the town. Unfortunately it rained during our stay otherwise we would have sat outside much more. Lovely breakfast, we particularly liked the Byrek which was light and cheesy. A good location too, near the castle and in the old town close to its shops and restaurants. Access to the old town is via small streets, tricky in a car but there was good parking at the hotel.

Summary: Wonderful views from balcony over the town.

Positive: The bathroom was modern and the shower was excellent. The bed was comfortable with quality pillows. The breakfast was plentiful and the family running the hotel were fantastic!! The location is a 5.minute walk to the castle entrance. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again!
