Positive: Absolutely beautiful historic hotel! The rooms are unique, very clean and comfortable beds . You can really feel the history of the properly . The staff was very friendly , they really care about making guests welcome.

Positive: We were in a newly renovated room which was spacious comfortable and nicely decorated The outside areas were excellent and I believe the dining area is about to be upgraded

Positive: Lovely hotel, very clean, beautiful breakfast area. Staff are really nice and try and help as much as they can. Housekeeping are also really friendly. Breakfast is lovely has a wide range of food on offer. Hard working , kind people staff. Our room was lovely, bathroom looks brand new!
Negative: The air conditioning was fully off. Where our room was in the hotel it just gets rather hot in there, we called reception but the only solution they gave was opening the window, which was already open, it was a small window that the room had so, each night we were boiling at night. Also maintenance men knocked at the door at 9am, no idea why as everything in the room was absolutely fine. They needed to access the bathroom but my partner was in the shower so i had to decline. A warning of someone coming to repair something would have helped. Still have no idea what they needed to do as everything was fully functioning.
Summary: Had a lovely stay, amazing staff , beautiful room. Minor issue was the air conditioning not working at all.
